The Letter
Hello My Fellow Citizens,
I have a short post today. I read "The Letter" from a 56 year old woman who says what I have been saying and now has said it so loudly that it is becoming an internet phenomenon. I am with her I say in the next election we vote all incumbents out. Start from scratch.
If we don't take our country back this minute, we won't have a country to take back. The government is becoming bigger not smaller and our taxes keep going higher. I will not stand for one more tax increase.
My President in one of the speeches you made you said "together we can accomplish a lot". Why should we be charged with cleaning up a mess that every politician in the last 20 years has done a masterful job of making.
If you believe in your personal freedom than I recommend that you sign this
petition.
If you don't care about the constitution and your personal freedom, then please dissregard this message.
Sincerely,
Arthur L Dusenbury

Vote All Incumbents Out
People It's Time To Take Back Our Cities, Counties, States, and Country.Vote out all incumbents and vote for only independents or the other guy of any or either party candidate that isn't an incumbent. It doesn't matter who we vote for, because everyone in office is corrupt. This idea in therory will on the junk and give us the opportunty in the next election to put fresh new faces in office, who will then work for us. See "The Message" this would send?
The idea is not to vote for either party. This will send out a strong message to future politicians that if they don't do the right thing they will be voted out of office.
The Politicians want us all to think that they are working to fix our countries and worlds problems. May I remind us all that the government was part of the problem!
Here is who I think are responsible for the mess we are in:
The power and money hungry upper class(in their own minds, we are all upper class), who's greed and addiction to power made extremely poor decisions for the companies and stock holders that they were entrusted with. Collapsed the financial markets to the place where government had to infuse large amount of yours and my hard earned money to save these companies. The most frustrating thing is the many of these people participated in the crash of the financial system, many still have their jobs while they lay off millions of people. I say it's time to fire them instead. Why aren't they losing their job? Because they have the power, you and I don't. Our power is in our numbers Millions to a few thousand.
The federal government was warned of this 10 years ago by Alan Greenspan and other economists. Greenspan didn't have the kahonas to stand up to any of the Presidents, which where Bill Clinton and George Bush.
We the people for being apathetic for so long. It is our responsiblity to see that our governments are run correctly. If we say nothing, we give our voice away.
I am choosing to vote everyone out. The best that can happen in this corrupt system of "big boys get all" is to vote all of them out. I don't believe there is a single politician that isn't corrupt. The best I think we can do will be for future elections is to send out a powerful message to all politicians that we are " Mad as @#!$#@ and will not take it any more. Future elections we will be able to find more honest people to run. I won't run for office in the current climate because I am not willing to sacrific my integrity. I would never be able to get anything done, which happened to Peter Fitzgerald when he was a federal Senator. He quit after 1 term.
If you're as tired as I am with the status quo then stand up and be heard.

My Congratulations to you Presidental Elect, It's Time to Get Busy
Now that all the promises and words have been thrown around it is time to get busy and get to work. American people it is your job to hold all of leaders iron to the fire. You now have a voice you need to keep voicing it. If you don't, our leaders will do what ever they want. The reason we are free depends on it.

Who's to blame for the financial crisis in the world?
A Letter from Arthur L. Dusenbury to everyone responsible for the financial mess that the world is in.
Dear all politicians, CEO's of all mortgage companies, banks, wall street, and the American people (that includes myself).
I feel I need to post these comments or I will implode from seething anger. I promise I will be nice. Honest but nice.
I am disgusted will all of you, I include myself. Please indulge me for a minute, this is not just negative spewing. I have given careful thought and consideration about this topic.
I am disgusted because:
The American people are not off the hook either:
Dear all politicians, CEO's of all mortgage companies, banks, wall street, and the American people (that includes myself).
I feel I need to post these comments or I will implode from seething anger. I promise I will be nice. Honest but nice.
I am disgusted will all of you, I include myself. Please indulge me for a minute, this is not just negative spewing. I have given careful thought and consideration about this topic.
I am disgusted because:
- Many of the mortgage loans that went bad were Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The government and then, the Fed chief Alan Greenspan pushed the President and Congress to allow these government private institutions to push these bad loans to mortgage securities, you know the rest. This practise started with Bill Clinton and continued through George Bush. It didn't take a rocket scientist to predict that this was going to happen. My hippie brother, a dead head, predicted this nearly 3 years ago. Is my brother smarter than the smartest financial minds in Washington? The answer is obvious. They knew this was going to happen, and I am sure like Washington is so good at doing, silenced any of the whistle blowers. I am sure as time passes the truth will come out.
- Bush ran to fast into Iraq after 9-11 and instead of telling us he made a mistake and pull out, Bush and the republicans continued to put spin on the truth. Democrats are not off the hook either. A majority to Democrats voted in favor to go to Iraq. Now we have billions of dollars of war expenses to pay back. How about a barter with Iraq for some of their oil?
- We can thank greedy bankers, mortgage brokers and mortgage companies for not only giving loans to families that had no credit, a marginal job, and no history of being responsible with money, so as to boost up the value of their stocks only to sell their stocks just before the value of the stocks plummeted. I think the SEC calls it insider trading. They get to walk away with millions while everyone else gets JACK. By the way, their cashing out their stock triggered the collapse of the stock market.
- Wall Street for using a morbid tool of betting on foreclosed homes, to make themselves filthy rich.
- Democrats and Republicans for creating a national debt that will never be payed back in my life time (I'm 52), and not spending within their means. It is now time for a balanced budget amendment and a line item veto power for the President. I am sad to say the national debt will most likely not be paid down or off until my gran nephew is my age. He is 6 months old right now.
- Both Democrats and Republicans that don't tell the whole truth.
- Lies and greed by all is what has caused all of these problems for us.
- Credit card companies for not shutting down some folks lines of credit.
The American people are not off the hook either:
- The average American spends somewhere between 10-50% beyond their income and financing their life style with credit cards. They use the credit cards until the payments get out of control and then refinance their home and cash out equity to pay off their debt. They do this 2-3 times until the equity in their home is dried up. Now they have a huge house payment, the fear missing a payment, so they refinanced with an adjustable rate mortgage, you know the rest.
- The psychology world has a disorder to label folks like this, compulsive spending disorder. I see it as a selfish disease, I want what I want, and I want it now, and I don't care what I have to do to get it.
- Being apathetic. When I see my elected officials doing an injustice I communicate my opinion to them.
- Not coming out to vote. Not getting educated on the candidates.
- Being brainwashed by candidates that speak smoothly and look pretty (That's about most of them).
- Letting other people do your thinking for you.
These are my judgements and mine alone. I came to these judgments after careful thought and research.
I am so disgusted by our elected leaders, I will only vote for 3 candidates. These 3 are the only ones I have not caught in lies, exaggeration's, shades of gray, and guilt by omission.
Character does matter. I am voting my conscience.
I would be interested in feedback.
I used to be one of the Americans I described above.
I am choosing my creator as a model moral compass. My compass is the Bible, time tested and God approved. I live free every day knowing that God unconditionally loves me. And he loves you to. I am not, nor ever will be perfect. I am a sinner saved by grace.
